Am I missing something? Why aren’t you actually telling us anything about your ‘chats’?
Fascinating? But can’t find the words to describe it?
What about about a sampler in WAV format?
How are you taking notes?
And how is the quality of BBC tea, on a par with BritRail?
I’m frankly a bit nervous about sharing everything I hear. People tell you things over a cup of coffee that they wouldn’t necessarily want quoted. Not that they’re being intemperate or gossipy (although some people obviously are) but just that some things are commercially sensitive or might be damaging in an ongoing negotiation or whatever. I think I’ll write a blog post about this actually, instead of banging on here in this comment :->
How about making it obvious that you’re taking notes (and even showing the person you’re talking to the quote, to make sure they’re happy with them?)
