I'm in an interesting position in that having set up backstage I went on to leave the BBC and move to Silicon Valley - where I now have not only commercial experience (an issue raised all the time at BBCites) but also have worked on the same kinds of projects with other media outlets (most notably probably MySapce for News Corp). I will comment here and there on this blog and send Steve an email to see how best I participate more formally. @Bill Lee

You raise a good point, I think it is a good idea for the people mentioned to chime in and participate.

I’m in an interesting position in that having set up backstage I went on to leave the BBC and move to Silicon Valley – where I now have not only commercial experience (an issue raised all the time at BBCites) but also have worked on the same kinds of projects with other media outlets (most notably probably MySapce for News Corp).
